Both articles are very interesting--a bit dated. There have been so many recent articles written about Web 2.0 and Web 3.0 We need to include information about Web 3.0. The sooner we start finding out about new technology, the sooner we can become better stewards of the information and we can share it with patrons.

Here is a shout out to all the bloggers on the NTRLS 23 Things!!!!



What an exciting time to be in the library field where all things are moving so fast yet staying the same. As librarians we are expected to know how to down load music, how to set up email accounts in several languages, how to use flickr and an endless list of new "toys" and cyberspace tools; while still knowing what is the next title in the latest vampire series or where to find that special science project. We are truly the profession that brides the gap for so many people in so many stages of life and computer knowledge.
